Why did you decide to become a Dentist?

I grew up seeing my Mom, the original Dr. Trivedi, helping patients smile, laugh, and live healthier and happier lives. I could not see myself doing anything other than that. As time went on, my brother, the second Dr. Trivedi, followed in my Mom’s footsteps and my desire to become a dentist solidified more. Being a dentist, I am able to transform smiles in terms of aesthetics, function, and structure. This leads to people having more confidence, happiness, better nutrition, longer lives, and more.

What inspires you to work at Preferred Dental Care?

I have seen my parents, Dr. Shilpa Trivedi and Rushi Trivedi, build up Preferred Dental Care from scratch. I know how much care and love they have put and continue to put in the office. It’s really not just an office. It is a culture and a service to the community. Preferred Dental Care truly follows its name and wholeheartedly cares for people, not just teeth. Step in the office and you will feel that. I want to continue to work on this purpose of helping people smile, which I know is also the purpose of Preferred Dental Care.

Hobbies and Interests: I love travelling to different countries to learn other cultures. I also love music, specifically EDM and any Bad Bunny song. I also grew up dancing in various Indian dance groups.

What is a fun fact about yourself? I was the youngest dentist in the country when I graduated!

Favorite thing to do in New York City: My favorite thing to do in NYC is try new restaurants and visit new music venues. I also love seeing the city during the holiday season!
